October 2011

Well, October is here and it's bringing some very un-Autumnal weather with it. The harbour is bathed in sunshine and our guests are enjoying cold drinks on the terrace. At this time of the year, the village is much quieter and it's a very tranquil way to spend a day.
Autumn is a great time to visit the area. The children are back to school, and the roads and towns are quieter while the weather - even without the Indian summer - is pleasant enough for long walks and shopping.

But if you want to do something more, we have events going on at the Hotel. For example, from the 10th to the 13th, we have "Strictly Come Walking", a four-night guided walking break around and about Hope Cove.

And don't forget, Christmas is looming over the horizon. If you've requested a brochure and tariff, they should be arriving in the post soon. The Christmas and New Year tariff is now online at http://www.hopecove.com/tariff-christmas.php and the brochure can be seen on http://www.hopecove.com/christmas-programme.php. Rooms are still available but filling fast. Book now!
